Maya is an AI-powered assistant built into RateMyBody. She lives in the site header — look for the ✨ Ask Maya button at the top of any page.

Maya is designed specifically for questions about this platform. She knows the rules, the features, how things work, and what's allowed. She gives you a direct answer — no searching, no waiting for a staff member.

Maya is available to everyone — you don't need an account to use her.

🚀 How to Ask Maya a Question

Click the ✨ Ask Maya button in the site header. A panel will slide open.

Type your question in plain English. You don't need special phrasing — just ask naturally, like you'd ask a person.

Press Send. Maya will check the existing FAQ database first. If a great answer already exists, she shows it immediately.

If no existing answer covers your question, Maya generates a new answer tailored to what you asked.

Read the answer. If it's helpful, great! If something is unclear, try rephrasing and asking again.

💬 What Can I Ask Maya?

Maya is focused on RateMyBody specifically. Here are the kinds of things she handles well:

  • Rules and policies — "Can I upload a photo with two people?" / "What's not allowed in messages?"
  • Features and how-to — "How do I boost a photo?" / "How does the ratings system work?"
  • Points and the shop — "How do I earn points?" / "What can I spend points on?"

Tip: The more specific your question, the better Maya's answer. "How does boosting work and is it refundable?" will get a better response than just "boosts".

Note: Maya will not help with anything that violates platform rules or attempts to manipulate the system. Misuse may result in your question limit being suspended.

⚙️ How Maya Finds Answers

Maya doesn't just make things up. She follows a structured process for every question:

Duplicate check. Maya first looks for an identical or very similar question that's already been answered. If one exists, she returns that answer immediately — no AI needed.

AI answer generation. If no existing answer fits, Maya generates a fresh answer based on platform rules and policies. The answer is written specifically for your question.

FAQ candidate. If the question is useful to others, it may eventually be added to the public FAQ — anonymously, without your name attached.
Remember: Maya is an AI assistant. While she tries hard to be accurate, she can occasionally make mistakes. For urgent matters — reports, bans, legal issues — always use the Contact Form to reach a real staff member.

⏱️ How Many Questions Can I Ask?

Maya allows up to 10 questions per day. This limit applies to everyone — guests and registered users alike.

The counter resets at midnight UTC each day. If you hit the limit, try again tomorrow — or check the FAQ page for answers that are already there.

Why is there a limit? Generating AI answers costs real resources. The daily limit keeps Maya fast and available for everyone.

🚫 What Maya Won't Do

Maya is focused on helping you understand the platform. She won't:

  • Take action on your account — she can't ban, unban, delete content, or change settings. Use the Contact Form for that.
  • Access your personal data — Maya doesn't know your account history, upload history, or messages.
  • Give legal advice — her answers about legal topics (GDPR, DMCA, etc.) are informational only, not professional legal counsel.
  • Answer off-topic questions — Maya only covers RateMyBody. She won't help with unrelated coding, homework, or general information requests.
  • Help bypass rules — any attempt to use Maya to get around platform policies will be refused.
  • Guarantee accuracy on fast-moving topics — things like event dates or recent rule changes may not always be up to date in Maya's answers.

🔒 What Happens to My Question?

When you submit a question to Maya, here's what we store:

  • The text of your question
  • Maya's answer
  • The timestamp and your IP address (for moderation purposes)
  • Your user ID, if you are logged in

Your questions are reviewed internally and may be published as new public FAQ entries — but always anonymously. Your username, IP, and identity are never attached to a public FAQ.

Don't share personal info in questions. Avoid including passwords, email addresses, real names, or any sensitive details in what you ask Maya. Treat it like a public form.
