🤔 So… what is RateMyBody?

RateMyBody is a community-driven platform where people upload photos and videos of themselves and receive ratings and feedback from other members. Think of it as a place to share your look, track how your appearance is perceived over time, and connect with a community that's straightforward and honest.

It's not social media in the traditional sense — there are no algorithmic feeds, no ads in your face, and no follower counts. It's built around one core idea: you share, people rate, you get real feedback.

Beyond ratings, the site has a growing set of community features — a chat room, leaderboards, games, achievements, a points system, and more. You can be as active or as quiet as you like.

RateMyBody has two separate content tiers, strictly enforced. Where you land depends on your age.

📸 Uploading Photos & Videos

You can upload photos and videos of yourself to be rated by the community. Every upload goes through an AI moderation check first — this keeps things safe before anything reaches a human reviewer.

A few things to know before you upload

• One person per upload. All photos and videos must feature exactly one person — you. Multi-person content is not permitted.
• You must be the subject. Don't upload content of someone else without their explicit consent.
• Photos: Upload up to 25 at once. Supported formats include JPEG, PNG, and WebP.
• Videos: Uploaded individually. Thumbnails are generated automatically.
• Guests can upload too — no account needed. Guest uploads come with a unique delete link and a 30-day window to request removal before the licence becomes permanent.

What happens after you upload

⭐ Community Ratings

The core of RateMyBody is the community rating system. Members rate photos and videos on a 1–10 scale. Each user can rate a given piece of content once per day. Ratings are anonymous — you won't know who voted what.

Your content accumulates an average score over time. The more ratings you receive, the more accurate your score becomes. Ratings can go up or down as new votes come in each day.

Ratings for photos of minors

Photos depicting someone under 18 use a simplified Like / Dislike system instead of the 1–10 scale. Results show as "Positive" or "Negative" only. Several features are also disabled on minor content: purchasing, favouriting, boosting, and direct messaging via the photo page.

🛡️ How We Keep Things Safe

RateMyBody uses a combination of automated AI tools and human moderators. Here's the short version of how it works:

• AI content scanning checks every upload before it goes live — for prohibited content, age signals, and policy compliance.
• Human moderators review flagged content. They're volunteers who've been vetted by the team.
• Safeguarding Leads handle anything involving minors exclusively — general moderators never see that content.
• Message scanning monitors message threads involving minor accounts for grooming and illegal content.
• Report buttons are available on all photos, videos, profiles, and messages. Reports are taken seriously.
• Zero tolerance for CSAM. All illegal content is immediately reported to law enforcement, including NCMEC and Finnish police.

📋 The Rules — Short Version

The full rules are in the Terms of Service. Here's what matters most for new members:

• Only upload content of yourself. You must be the sole subject of every photo and video you upload.
• One person per upload. No group shots or content featuring anyone else.
• No illegal content. This includes CSAM, non-consensual images, and anything else prohibited by law.
• Honest ratings, not abuse. Critical ratings are fine. Coordinated harassment, racial abuse, and targeted cruelty are not.
• No solicitation. Don't ask for money, gifts, or off-platform paid content in messages or comments.
• Adult content stays in adult spaces. Do not attempt to bypass age verification.
• Be real. Fake accounts, bots, and rating manipulation are prohibited.
